A Weekend at Bayfront

It was a hush-hush weekend getaway at Subic for us. The hubby and the daughter wanted a swim. We headed to Subic with no hotel reservations. We were thinking there are a lot of hotels there and they could not be all fully booked this weekend. There's still work in the coming week so we are still safe from the onslaught of vacationers for their Holy Week getaway.

We were at Legenda a few months ago. It was okay, no complaints but we just want to try another hotel. Bayfront looks good, simple but pretty neat. It's near the beach as the name suggests.

There's a good view of The Lighthouse from where hubby was when he took this picture. I wish the mountains are as green as they should be.

I fancied the row of boats in this picture.

One of the major requirements when we choose a hotel is the pool and its location. I really prefer an indoor pool. Or if it's not indoor, at least there is some shield from the glaring sun. This one's good since the sun's rays are somehow filtered by the hotel's structure.

Once there, the Princess tested the waters. And in no time, she was taking a dip already. :)

I hope your weekend was great! Check out snapshots from other weekenders. :)

  6. Lynn, your photos are great. Buti pa kayo. We can't have a vacation yet since there is no one to tend the house. Plus Trixie still has exams on the 24-27th.

Have a great weekend and hope to see you soon :)

  11. we went to Subic one time with no hotel reservations, too ... and it was the peak season! So we were 'forced' to try out Mountain View, which was quite far from the beach. It was ok and we liked the peaceful atmosphere. :)
    happy WS!

  15. Great photos, Lynn! I love the sea, and I especially love unique photos such as this that capture something different. Why were they all lined up? Where are they going? Who are they?
The mysteries are endless. Thanks for letting us in on your hush-hush getaway. NIce idea that we all should try every now and then.

  16. Hi Lynn! Sa sobrang init ngayon, a weekend getaway at Subic sounds so perfect...How was the beach there? My family plans to go back for the beach because we weren't able to last time. Pero after holy week na.

  17. hi Lynn. actually, when we were planning to go to Subic, Bayfront was one of the two choices we have in mind, next was The Grand Leisure Hotel, kapitbahay lang ng Bayfront. but no luck for us since the hotel is fully booked for the Holy Week.

then again, sana next time we go there, we can book na with Bayfront. very near where the action is kasi.

    Happy happy Easter Mommy Lynn!
